Welcome to Rockland's Bountiful Basket. We are a company that sells and/or distributes Fresh produce by volume and not by product. Bountiful Basket is a non-profit company and are totally run by volunteers. No one takes a salary

How does it work
What we do is purchase in bulk at the main warehouse in Montreal at the best price we can get, then bring the produce back to our Rockland and Hawkesbury locations where they are sold and/or distributed by volume . We have pre-set baskets ranging from 15$-75$. You choose the size of basket that best suits you and your families’ needs, then go around the room and fill it up with as much or as little as you need. Once you are done shopping, you pay by cash, debit or e-transfer. After its paid, you transfer all your goodies to bags,  or boxes provided on site to take home.

Our mission

At Rockland's Bountiful Basket, our mission is to alleviate food insecurity within our community. We strive to provide access to affordable fruits and vegetables for everyone, ensuring that healthy food options are within reach for all. Because we buy in bulk, we can afford to pass on the savings onto you. If you are a family in need or know someone in need, please let us know as soon as you arrive and we can make arrangements for you. Our motto is that no one should go hungry. Just ask for one of our managers who will make sure to do what is needed to help you.

Food Distribution Initiatives

Our food distribution initiatives focus on collecting and distributing nutritious food to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Together, we can ensure that no one goes hungry. Wednesday evenings, around 7PM, we advertise what we have available for the week. If for some reason, you do not have time to come in and go through our variety of produce, feel free to send us a message via Messenger with desired produce and quantities and we will prepare a box for you. You can then pick up your order during operating hours and be out within a few minutes.
